We offer a range of services including a busy Breakfast/Afterschool Club and Holiday Playscheme in Lindley, Huddersfield.
We are seeking an Experienced Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to lead our Breakfast/Afterschool Club and Holiday Playscheme. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to inspire our talented staff team and make a significant impact on our infant setting, focusing on children aged 3-7 years.
Responsibilities
Breakfast Club:
Lead the team in creating a stimulating and exciting environment for children.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the breakfast club.
Address any issues with parents or children and report to the Manager.
Provide engaging and educational activities.
Afterschool Club:
Manage the staff team in the daily operations of Lindley Out of School Club.
Engage in face-to-face work with children, delivering a diverse program of activities in a safe play environment.
Ensure the activities are interesting, valuable, and appropriate for the children, adapting to their changing needs.
Welcome parents, carers, and visitors, providing them with relevant information and advice regarding childcare.
Job Purpose
To lead and inspire the staff team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and activities.
To create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and their families.
To maintain a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the well-being and development of children.
Hours
Term Time: 7am - 9am and 3pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.
School Holidays: Full days from 7.30am - 6pm, with staff working half days (7am - 12.30pm or 12.30pm - 6pm).
