Breakfast Chef - Live-in position

Lake District Country Hotels are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join the Briery Wood Brigade.

Main Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes to order, ensuring consistency and presentation standards. Manage a busy breakfast service, often working independently or with minimal support. Cater for dietary requirements and special requests in a professional and accommodating manner. Ensure allergens are clearly identified and handled appropriately. Ensure thorough cleaning of all equipment and kitchen areas after breakfast service. Monitor stock levels and assist in placing orders to ensure ingredients are fresh and available. Support other kitchen staff when required, particularly during lunch or event preparation. Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain accurate records for HACCP and other compliance checks. Take pride in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience that reflects the hotel's high standards.
*Assist more senior chefs in preparing meals in either part or in full

*Responsible for executing allocated dishes on time to the required standard

*Work as part of the kitchen team under the direction of the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Parties to support the demands of the kitchen

*Work in a clean and tidy manner

*Undertake training as required

*Maintain a positive and pro-active attitude at all times

*Actively seek to improve skills and achieve personal development

*Comply with all health and safety regulations

*Perform other duties as assigned by management

*Comply with the provisions of your contract and any of our Company Policies and set an example for more junior members of staff

*Seek to ensure at all times that all visitors or guests on our sites have the best experience possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,622.00 per year
