Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Develop and design innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to. Manage food inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Monitor portion control and presentation of dishes before serving. Handle any customer feedback or complaints with professionalism.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food preparation. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable. A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu offerings. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications would be an advantage. Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
