Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Develop new menu items and specials, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Conduct training sessions for kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food production processes, cooking techniques, and presentation styles. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking with a creative flair for developing new dishes. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Pay: 12.70-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
