Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience in childcare settings.

Hours

Working hours are during Term Time at

Breakfast

club

7

.20-8.50am, 3-5 days a week

Also available,

After school Club hours

2.30pm - 5.30/6.15pm. 3-5 days a week.

Position to start as soon as possible. *. We have 3 sites and also run

Holiday clubs

& if interested, we may also have additional hours available in these clubs.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Prepare and serve breakfast for the children and maintain clean food preparation areas and hygiene standards. Working within a small team in ensuring all children have a happy and fun morning before school. Safely escort children to their classrooms at the end of club.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A drive to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of children. Relevant qualifications in nursery or early childhood education are desirable but not mandatory. A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their play experiences.
