Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Support the team in serving food to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food hygiene standards are met
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient service delivery
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or within a restaurant environment is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in meal preparation and kitchen organisation
Strong understanding of culinary techniques and presentation skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary
