Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Breakfast Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and culinary arts, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety within a professional kitchen setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, ensuring cleanliness and organisation, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. The hours are on a Saturday and Sunday morning with additional hours available if required. Breakfast items will be prepared and cooked for pick up orders only.

Responsibilities



Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of various dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices Assist with meal assembly and presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks Assist with inventory management by organising supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels

Skills



Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen or restaurant environment Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Previous experience in serving or restaurant roles is advantageous but not essential Ability to adapt quickly to new recipes, procedures, and kitchen equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
