We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimised through proper handling procedures Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas based on customer preferences and current trends

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary environment is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times Good organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Previous experience in a restaurant or serving role is advantageous but not mandatory Passion for creating high-quality meals and delivering excellent customer service

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21 per hour
