We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team in the role of Breakfast Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional service to our hotel guests. Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals looking for part time work in the mornings.
Duties
Cook and prepare meals according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
Serve meals to customers efficiently and courteously
Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety guidelines
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Follow all hygiene protocols to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different roles within the team
Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous
