Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Plan menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations. Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including inventory control and equipment maintenance. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs. Participate in catering events, ensuring high-quality food presentation and service.

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide. Strong menu planning skills with an understanding of nutritional requirements. Proficient in food preparation techniques, including cooking and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the culinary field. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Background in restaurant or kitchen environments, demonstrating versatility in food service roles. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.86 per hour
