Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure kitchen efficiency. Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production, with a focus on quality and presentation. Excellent team management skills, capable of leading and motivating staff. Proficient in food preparation techniques with a creative approach to cooking. Extensive kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant setting. Culinary experience that showcases versatility across various cuisines. Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence. Strong leadership abilities to inspire the team towards achieving common goals. Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to serve dishes with attention to detail and aesthetic appeal.
