Job Overview
We are seeking well presented and enthusiastic part-time breakfast waiting staff to join our team in our small city cente guesthouse. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using your knowledge of the menu to assist guests with their selections.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Assist with food preparation if required, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and clearing away used dishes.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends as required.
Hours approximately 8-11am, 4-7 days per week (to be discussed at interview)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
