Job Description

We're expanding at The Old Cannon Brewery. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic Brewery Assistant to join our team and support all aspects of our brewing operations.

The Role


As a Brewery Assistant, you'll work closely with our brewing team to help with day-to-day tasks across the brewery. This is a hands-on role that will give you experience in the brewing process from start to finish, as well as the chance to learn and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities



Assisting with brewing, maintaining cellaring standards, and packaging processes Cleaning and sanitising equipment, vessels, and work areas Supporting deliveries and stock handling (lifting required) Helping to maintain quality control and hygiene standards Occasionally representing the brewery at events General brewery duties as required

About You



Enthusiastic about real ale and the brewing industry Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy items safely Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Comfortable working as part of a small team Full clean UK driving licence (must be over 25 for this role due to our insurance) Previous brewery or production experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided

Pay: 12.21-12.70 per hour
