Overview


We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of bricklayer and be proficient in various aspects of construction. This role involves working with bricks, blocks, and other materials to construct and repair structures, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties



Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials according to specifications and drawing. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using appropriate techniques. Mix mortar and other materials as required for various projects. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and power tools. Perform repairs on existing masonry structures as needed. Have a good understanding of NHBC standards

Skills



Proficiency in bricklaying techniques and masonry practices. Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.86-31.85 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
