We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying, with experience in using both hand and power tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. The Bricklayer will be responsible for constructing a new build property while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Duties
Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and drawings.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Mix mortar and other bonding agents to create strong joints between bricks.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and roofers to ensure project completion.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; perform minor repairs as needed.
Adhere to safety standards and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry work is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels.
Familiarity with power tools commonly used in masonry work.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
