We are requiring a nBricklayers/ or Bricklaying team to undertake price work mainly 100-200m of boundary walls.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials to construct walls, arches, and other structures. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and layout. Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting. Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects. Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure cohesive project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Perform repairs on existing structures as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in bricklaying techniques with a solid understanding of masonry principles. Experience using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels effectively. Familiarity with power tools relevant to masonry work. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Basic welding skills are advantageous but not essential. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
