Harland Group Ltd have a great position available within the maintenance and construction field for the right people.

Our ever expanding team are looking the right person/people to join a dynamic work force.

Are you a highly experienced bricklayer with years of knowledge under your belt or are you an improver eager to develop your skills and further your abilities within the trade? Whatever you skill set we could have an opening perfect for you within our friendly and out going team.

General day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Analysing and interpreting building plans. Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required. Measuring distance from reference points. Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses. Laying bricks using mortar as a binder and a trowel to level. Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement. Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights. Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.
Role requirements:

Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings. Problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
We specialise in domestic and commercial works including extensions, garage/loft/basement conversions and new builds along with ongoing contracts within the insurance and maintenance sectors.

Based on your individual skills and experience, we will find the perfect position for you within our growing company.

Must be able to take instructions and work within a team or individually as required. Supervisory roles can be offered to the right candidates with room for progression, pay increases and bonus'.

Our work is mainly in the Essex and Suffolk area.

Both self employed or full time PAYE roles available for the right candidate.

Full and part-time positions available Monday to Friday with the option to work weekends and bank holidays if you choose.
