Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and be proficient in bricklaying. This role involves constructing and repairing structures made of bricks, blocks, and other materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Must have own transportation.

Duties

Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications and drawings. Mix mortar and other bonding agents to ensure proper adhesion. Cut and shape bricks using hand tools and power tools as required. Construct walls, arches, and other structures with precision. Repair and maintain existing brickwork, ensuring structural integrity. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in bricklaying techniques and masonry practices. Experience with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels. Familiarity with power tools used in masonry work. Basic carpentry skills for integrating brickwork with wooden structures. Knowledge of roofing techniques is an advantage. Welding skills are beneficial for certain masonry applications.
