We are seeking a skilled Brick Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Good knowledge of groundworks, concrete, drainage required. Structural alterations, installation of beams, blockwork, facework essential - You will be working for a fast growing company based in Llanelli, projects will include extensive refurbishments, renovations and new builds for both the private & public sectors.
Responsibilities
Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls, arches, and other structures according to specifications.
Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools.
Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects.
Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
Repair or replace damaged brickwork or masonry structures as needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and roofers to ensure project completion.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Requirements
Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to masonry work.
Knowledge of carpentry and roofing techniques is advantageous.
Familiarity with welding processes is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings and plans accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
