We are seeking a skilled Brick Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in masonry techniques and be adept at working with various materials to construct, repair, and maintain structures. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively on Projects
Responsibilities
Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and design plans.
Construct walls, arches, and other structures using appropriate techniques.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for specific projects.
Repair existing masonry structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met. Supply of own tools essential
Follow health and safety regulations on site to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
Proficient in bricklaying techniques with a solid understanding of masonry principles.
Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work.
Familiarity with carpentry skills is advantageous for integrated construction tasks.
