Overview
Bendo Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced
General Builder
to join our team. We're involved in a wide range of construction projects across London, including extensions, refurbishments, shop fit-outs, and maintenance works.
The ideal candidate will be skilled with
sand and cement work
-- confident in
bricklaying, block paving, patios, concreting, and general building tasks.
Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of general building work, including brickwork, blockwork, and paving
Lay patios, driveways, and pathways with precision
Mix and apply mortar, screed, and concrete as required
Undertake small groundworks, drainage, and repair jobs
Assist with extensions, garden walls, and other masonry projects
Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to high standards
Work independently or as part of a small team on site
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a general builder, bricklayer, Tiler or similar trade
Strong knowledge of sand and cement work
Confident with patio installation, block paving, tiling and basic concreting
Ability to read drawings and follow site instructions
CSCS card preferred but not essential
Driving licence desirable
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work without constant supervision
