Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bricklaying, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on site.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials according to specifications and plans. Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools. Construct walls, chimneys, arches, and other structures as required. Ensure that all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic repairs as necessary. Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in bricklaying work is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to masonry tasks. Basic knowledge of carpentry, roofing, or welding is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings accurately. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety on site.
