We are seeking a skilled Brick layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, and other materials. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry units according to specifications and blueprints. Mix mortar and other materials as needed for construction projects. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish masonry materials. Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure seamless project execution. Perform repairs on existing structures, including patching and rebuilding as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
