Job Summary

We are seeking a experienced and skilled Bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and bricklaying, with experience in using hand and power tools. This role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, and other materials. The successful applicant will demonstrate attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all aspects of bricklaying to a high standard (facework, blockwork, retaining walls, etc.) Support general building tasks Read and interpret construction plans and drawings Ensure all work complies with building regulations and health & safety standards Assist with groundworks including drainage, concrete pours, patios and foundations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bricklayer (minimum 5 years) Strong all-round knowledge of general building practices Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to work unsupervised and solve problems on-site Competent in groundwork techniques and processes CSCS card preferred but not essential Full UK driving licence required
