are looking to fill the role of Bricklayer/Wet Trades to join our expanding team.

We are primarily involved in restoration and renovations, extensions and general building work around Bath, South Bristol, Somerset, and East Wiltshire. You will join our team of constructions experts primarily working on renovations, conversion and extensions. We are looking for someone who will want to progress and develop skill to become an all-rounder with time and training.

This is a full time, permanent role with a 45 hour working week. You will receive a competitive rate based on experience + work based incentives, holidays and pension contribution.

The exact nature of the role will depend on your experience and abilities. A large part of our work is renovations and conversions; experience in this type of work would be an advantage, but not essential. Supervision and training will be provided until you are confident about the high standards we strive to maintain.

You will work as part of a team initially but you should be happy to work independently on smaller projects, taking responsibility for the whole job when ready to do so. In time we will expect you to be confident to work on larger domestic construction projects, and commercial projects with other trades from the company and subcontractors.

You will need to be thorough, considerate and articulate, with excellent communications skills when dealing with customers and while working with other trades on site.

Initially we will make contact by phone to short list candidates for a short interview process followed by reference checking. This will lead to immediate start as soon as the right candidate is available.

Essential Skills & Experience:



Keen interest in construction primarily brick or slab laying

Relevant wet trades experience

Traceable track record for easy reference checking

Excellent team worker, fluent and excellent communicator

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Drive and determination, keen to learn and ability to work in a dynamic and exciting business

Full drivers licence

Key Responsibilities



Working independently, or part of a team, alongside other trades on domestic and construction projects, to deliver projects on time and on budget

Operating independently to complete small projects

Help less experienced team members gain experience

Discuss and inform customers about progress so that they understand the work you are completing and applying the levels of service our customer expect

Manage and maintain the tools and vehicle provided to you so that you have the correct and serviceable equipment for the jobs that you are asked to perform

Manage your own time and assist foreman with site diary to keep track of costs
