Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to educating and empowering students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working with school leavers and Adults employed in Construction. The Tutor will join a team that has created a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique strengths and needs.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in the work shop for practical skills or class room for support with theory work. Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning. Communicate regularly with co-ordinators and others staff regarding student progress, areas for improvement and concerns. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to succeed and develop in the construction industry. Support students with, EPA preparation, online tests and study skills. Stay updated on educational best practices and resources to enhance tutoring effectiveness.

Qualifications

Qualified and Experienced Bricklayer Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. Ability to support and inspire students while maintaining patience and understanding. A degree in education or a related field is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. A passion for working with children and helping them succeed academically.
