This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of a growing Olympic-pathway sport. The High Performance Coach Mentor will bring world-leading expertise in elite coaching, providing guidance, mentoring, and strategic direction to ensure best practice is embedded across both men's and women's Olympic 6s performance teams. Were looking for a person to influence and innovate coaching direction and decision making, to advise where necessary, and to coordinate coaching activity to ensure speed of learning and pace of delivery are maximised.
You will:

  • Advise and support the Men's and Women's High Performance Coaches in all areas of performance coaching.
  • Lead the adoption of cutting-edge, evidence-based training and competition practices.
  • Collaborate with sports science, S&C, medical, and analysis staff to maximise athlete performance.
  • Shape a culture of excellence, learning, and resilience within the British Lacrosse programme.
  • Help position British Lacrosse as a medal-winning, internationally respected programme. The Candidate We are looking for a coach with:
  • Proven success at the highest level - Olympic and/or elite team sport experience, ideally with medal-winning outcomes.
  • A reputation as a world-class coaching practitioner, with a deep understanding of modern high-performance environments.
  • The ability to mentor and inspire other coaches, and to lead by example.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working within multidisciplinary performance teams.
  • Lacrosse experience is not necessary.
