We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, alongside strong leadership skills to manage a dynamic kitchen environment. The Chef will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
Plan and create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Manage food preparation processes to ensure efficiency and quality
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Continuously evaluate kitchen performance and implement improvements
Requirements
Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
