We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high team morale
Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, considering current trends and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations
Train and mentor junior staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the kitchen
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
Solid understanding of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience in food production, menu development, and customer service is advantageous
A recognised culinary qualification or equivalent experience is preferred
