Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Manage food production processes, including inventory control and ingredient sourcing. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health regulations. Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their professional growth. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and served at the correct temperature.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong culinary skills. Supervising experience in a kitchen environment is essential. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for cooking and creativity in food preparation is highly desirable. Previous experience in food production and serving is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
