We are currently seeking a skilled BSL Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students in a SEN school based in Runcorn.

The Role: As a BSL Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and group support to students with communication and learning difficulties.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and adapting materials to suit individual student needs.
• Facilitating effective communication between students and teachers using BSL.
• Supporting students with their personal, social, and emotional development.
• Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

• Level 2 BSL qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
