Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Builder to join our growing construction team. This role involves working on a variety of domestic projects, including extensions, refurbishments, and general building works. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple construction trades such as masonry, carpentry, roofing, and basic electrical work. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship are essential.

Due to the nature of our client base, fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, or Urdu is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures using wood, bricks, blocks, and stone Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform roofing, painting, and finishing tasks as required Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Carry out masonry and carpentry work to high standards Perform minor electrical and basic plumbing tasks when needed Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role within the construction industry Strong knowledge of masonry, carpentry, and general construction techniques Ability to use relevant tools and read construction plans and technical drawings Excellent physical fitness; capable of lifting and moving materials Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative on-site Good communication and teamwork skills Driving licence is preferred Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, or Urdu (to support communication with our predominantly Asian client base) Willingness to comply with all health and safety requirements on-site

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 31,000.00 per year Location: London Visa Sponsorship: Available under the Skilled Worker route (1-year initial sponsorship with potential for extension)
