Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction techniques and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to building projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Builder will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures, with a focus on joinery, masonry, roofing, and electrical work.

Duties

Construct and assemble building frameworks using wood, steel, or other materials. Perform joinery tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials. Ensure all structures are plumb and level according to specifications. Carry out roofing installations and repairs. Fabricate components as required for various projects. Execute electrical installations following safety regulations. Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying and stonework. Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Utilise hand tools for precise measurements and adjustments. Perform heavy lifting as needed during the construction process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of joinery, roofing, masonry, and electrical work is highly desirable. Ability to operate both hand tools and power tools competently. Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for site travel.

Pay: 120.00-140.00 per day
