What

you'll

be doing

:

T he overall purpose of the Estimator is to prepare and produce estimates from build plan design, translating information into Internal Raptor programme to produce a fully costed material, plant and labour estimate for our customers. The Estimator is to work alongside both our client's and internal support teams to ensure the estimates are accurate and profitable for clients.

be required

to:

To be able to create estimates and pricing proposals using internal Core pricing programmes - Raptor & Lite (and where necessary revise as required ) Ability to manage estimating for; Extension, Renovation, Loft Conversion, New Build (Standard) Barn Conversion. L iaise with customers, service team, Sales teams and local branch teams demonstrating a high level of networking and communication skills. L iaise with external suppliers for technical support B e responsive to technical onsite queries and support efficiently responding to issues arising from site amending estimates through to build reports and process. B e responsive to administrative and queries relating to estimating, amendments and scheduling of materials. U pdate the estimate to ensure visibility of projects to other P roduce full client, builder and branch report Support the smooth transition of estimate to DML to Click programme Other duties may be required of you that are not specific to your role Ad hock duties as required to meet the needs of the business Act as a key point of contact, liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders; delivering excellent customer service.

hat

you'll

need to have:

Construction technical experience within previous job roles Basic Knowledge of Build Regulations Experience of reading / understanding architectural drawing / structural specifications Experience of Microsoft Office package (Outlook / Access / Word / Excel predominantly Excellent communicator both internally and externally, written and verbal Able to work under own initiative Organised and able to manage own workload Preferred not essential A-C grade in English and Maths at GCSE level or similar
