We at CCM are looking for someone who has proven experience and a strong understanding of building techniques and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.
The project will begin in June with the aim to finish up in September so there is a minimum of 4 months full time work available.
You will be involved in the industrial building extension for our workshop storage and our offices above at our Ewhurst Site and constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures of our new planned office extension at our Gatwick Depot.
This job will require flexibility to travel to both sites so please only apply if you have the means and are able to do so.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various building techniques. This role requires a hands-on approach to constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Strong ability to oversee and communicate with labourers effectively
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS & OWN TRANSPORT
We are also looking for a general builder labourer so if you have your own labourer, please make sure to let us know as we are happy to take on a team.
This is self-employed 4 month job and pay is negotiable depending on experience,
