Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and committed

Builder

to join our team. This is a hands-on role that involves working on a wide variety of projects and requires strong technical knowledge, excellent craftsmanship, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be experienced in multiple areas of construction and capable of delivering work that consistently meets health and safety requirements, client expectations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay bricks, blocks, and masonry units according to specifications and plans Cut, measure, and shape materials to fit accurately within structures Mix and apply mortar and bonding agents Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Coordinate with other trades, including carpenters and electricians, as needed Perform roofing works including installation and weatherproofing Undertake masonry and stonework tasks Carry out painting and finishing where required Assemble and fabricate structural components based on drawings and blueprints Conduct repairs, including re-pointing and replacing damaged materials Maintain a safe, clean, and organised job site Perform heavy lifting and manual handling as part of daily duties

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in general building and construction techniques Proficient in using a range of power tools safely Knowledge of masonry, joinery, roofing, and structural assembly Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience in painting and finishing (interior and exterior) Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Physically fit and capable of manual lifting Familiarity with steelwork is advantageous Understanding of basic electrical systems is desirable

Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence Own vehicle (required) Own relevant tools Proven experience, approx 5 years min
