Overview

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both traditional and modern building techniques. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in the construction and renovation of residential properties, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Construct and repair structures such as walls, roofs, and floors using appropriate materials and techniques. Perform masonry work including bricklaying to create durable structures. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople including carpenters and plumbers to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Boarding and plastering.

Skills

Proficient in masonry techniques with experience in bricklaying. Experienced in painting techniques for both interior and exterior surfaces. Competent in the use of hand tools such as chisels, saws, and drills as well as power tools like nail guns and sanders. Familiarity with roofing systems and installation methods. Strong carpentry skills with an understanding of building frameworks and structures. Basic plumbing knowledge.
