Are you a skilled builder or bricklayer with solid experience in groundworks? KXM Developments is expanding, and we're looking for a reliable and experienced individual to join our growing team.

As part of a small growing team, you'll take on varied and rewarding work across mainly domestic projects. We are looking for someone who will fit within our existing small team and who will take pride in their work and respect our clients and projects.

: Builder/Bricklayer with Groundworks Role Overview

You will be responsible for performing general building, bricklaying, and groundwork duties across construction sites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both structural and finishing brick/block work, along with drainage, foundations, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry in accordance with plans and specifications. Carry out all types of groundwork including: Excavation and trenching Concrete foundations Drainage and ducting Slabbing, kerbing, and finishing works Read technical drawings and interpret construction plans. Use levels, string lines, and measuring tools accurately. Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure timely progress. Maintain health and safety standards on-site.

Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in building/brick/block laying and groundworks. Proficient in mixing and laying mortar, blockwork, cavity walling, retaining walls, etc. Ability to install drainage, prepare sub-bases, and pour concrete. Full UK driving licence (preferred). Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying / Construction Operations (or equivalent). Experience in operating plant (mini diggers, dumpers).
