We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and buildings. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in construction and building trades, demonstrating proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, metal, and other materials. Perform tasks such as framing, roofing, and masonry work. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete building projects. Fabricate components as per specifications and blueprints. Conduct electrical installations and repairs as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Paint surfaces to enhance aesthetic appeal and protect materials. Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other specialists on-site. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and practices. Ability to plumb accurately for various installations. Familiarity with electrical systems is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and clients.

Pay: 26,000.00-38,000.00 per year
