We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be proficient in various building techniques. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and renovating structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Builder will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, metal, and other materials.
Perform tasks such as framing, roofing, masonry, and plumbing as required by project specifications.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete building tasks.
Fabricate components as needed for various construction projects.
Conduct painting and finishing work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed structures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions.
Experience
Proven experience in building or construction roles is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the trade.
Skills in painting, electrical work, carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, fabrication, and welding are highly desirable.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
