Our

Caernarfon

branch is looking to recruit a Trade Counter Salesperson.

The ideal candidate will be approachable and friendly, someone who will meet the needs of our customers and provide service with a smile.

In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building products and therefore, previous sales experience in a merchant environment is preferred for this role but full training will be given. Strong customer service experience is essential. Please note that this role involves working alternate Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to midday.

Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:

Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone. Giving excellent customer service and knowledgeable product advice Providing quotations for customers Taking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale. Providing cover for driver absence Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy Booking in stock and organising customer deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis. You will, therefore, need to be the person that our customers will look forward to seeing knowing that they will always receive excellent customer service. You should also be enthusiastic, hardworking and have a positive attitude alongside:

Confident when dealing with customers. The ability to build great customer relationships. A good telephone manner, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills Computer literate Customer service experience.

EWE Building Plastics is an independent builders' merchant with 4 branches in North Wales and the North West

Must be available to work on alternate Saturday mornings (8 a.m.- midday). Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Salary of

28,571.40

does not include Saturday working. This would be paid as

overtime

.

Bonus scheme

would give potential for increased earning on top of the basic salary offered.
