We are seeking an experienced

Builders' Works & Groundworks Foreman

to lead small to medium works packages across London. Projects include enabling works, structural alterations, drainage, concrete works, diamond drilling/sawing, externals, and general builders' works.

Role & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations, labour, trades, and sub-contractors Set out small works, read drawings, and ensure works follow specification Coordinate groundworks: drainage, ducting, foundations, reinstatement Supervise builders' works packages: openings, lintels, structural alterations Ensure RAMS, permits, site safety, and compliance with CDM Liaise with clients, site managers, engineers, and head office Maintain daily site records, progress photos, and material call-offs Manage plant, tools, deliveries, waste, and site logistics Drive productivity and uphold high workmanship and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum

5 years

experience in builders' works / groundworks Strong ability to read drawings and work unsupervised Can manage small teams (2-10 operatives) Good English (spoken & written) SMSTS and first aid Full UK driving licence Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
