Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contractor to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and renovation tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and more, ensuring high-quality workmanship across all projects. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete various construction tasks efficiently.

Duties

Perform carpentry work including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry. Carry out roofing tasks such as repairs, replacements, and installations. Execute construction painting duties to ensure surfaces are properly prepared and finished. Undertake plumbing work including installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and fittings. Engage in masonry tasks such as bricklaying and concrete work. Conduct welding activities for metal structures or components as required. Apply electrical experience to install and maintain electrical systems safely. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete assigned tasks. Fabricate custom components as needed for specific projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites. Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous.
