A&E Construction is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Building Estimator to join our team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality domestic building projects, we're expanding to meet demand. If you have at least five years' construction experience, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Costing

- You'll analyse drawings and prepare detailed labour and material estimates for domestic building projects, including refurbishments, conversions, extensions, and new builds.

Using the Right Tools

- You'll work with estimating software like Price-A-Job, or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Industry Compliance

- You'll have a solid understanding of construction regulations and requirements, ensuring estimates align with industry standards.

Clear Communication

- Whether you're working with clients, contractors, or colleagues, you'll break down estimates clearly and professionally.

Supporting the Team

- When you're not busy estimating, you'll be helping develop and improve our business, making our service even better.

What We're Looking For

Experience in Construction Estimating

- You have a strong background in estimating for renovations, refurbishments, and new builds.

Software Proficiency

- You're confident using Price-A-Job, or similar estimating tools.

Strong Organisational Skills

- You can manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay on top of your workload.

Excellent Communication

- You can explain complex numbers in a way that makes sense to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Attention to Detail

- Accuracy is your strength, and you take pride in getting estimates right the first time.
