Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Salary:

Up to 30,000 (depending on experience)

Reports To:

Assistant Technical Services Manager

Role Overview

Join our team at Worcester Royal Hospital as a Building Fabric Maintenance Operative. You'll carry out general building repairs and minor installations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to hospital services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned and reactive building maintenance tasks Operate hand tools and access equipment safely Maintain accurate records and complete documentation Collaborate with colleagues and hospital departments to minimise disruption Carry out risk assessments and report hazards Work flexibly, including out-of-hours when required

Candidate Profile

Painting/decorating qualification (essential) Experience in healthcare maintenance (desirable) GCSE Maths and English or equivalent (essential) Strong practical skills and knowledge of building tools Basic Health & Safety awareness Full clean driving licence
