Job Introduction

Building Maintenance Engineers help maintain our automated Regional Distribution Centre in Amesbury, Wiltshire, a purpose built one million sq. ft. site which supports our plans to grow from 580 to 1,000 stores.


As a Building Maintenance Engineer you are responsible for the continuous running of site facilities; maintaining equipment to a high standard, in turn reducing production downtime.


For this recruitment campaign, we are looking for an experienced engineer with an electrical bias [or mechanical bias].


Job Overview
Ensure adherence to health and safety and security Work at height Maintain automated doors and dock levers to reduce downtime Maintain stock moving equipment Keep maintenance software up to date Organise maintenance between production requirements Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with good practice, relevant legislation and Company standards

Minimum Criteria To Apply
Both electrical and mechanical skills Experience and knowledge of building services and facilities engineering Qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and able to read electrical and mechanical drawing Understand hydraulics and pneumatics A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship desirable

Salary & Hours


42,626.48 per annum 4 on 4 off, 12 hour Day shift from 6am - 6pm
