We are looking to appoint a Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our supportive and skilled team of engineers in our reputable Glasgow office, located in the heart of the city centre within a welcoming and modern workspace.
As a Building Services Engineer (Electrical), you will provide high-quality technical and commercial solutions for a diverse range of clients. Clients span across the public and private sectors to include education, custodial, defence, healthcare, data centres, leisure, and commercial developments.

Your core
responsibilities
will include:
Delivering portfolios of work across both the private and public sector.
Preparing designs, feasibility studies, reports, and contract documents.
Deputising for senior staff where appropriate.
Managing contracts.
Liaising directly with Clients and Contractors.
Helping to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.

About You
Our ideal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) will have:
HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Knowledge and understanding of BS7671.
Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software's such as Hevacomp/Amtech/Dialux.
Excellent communication skills, collaborative and self - motivated.
Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience.
Experience with Revit MEP and hands on knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD.
Structured wiring system and security system design experience.
Knowledge of current legislation e.g. Scotland Building Regulations, also Low/Zero Carbon Technologies and BREEAM.
