We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join the team at our brand new luxury residential development PLATFORM_in Edinburgh!
This role is based full time within the development, you will be responsible for ensuring the development consistently meets all maintenance and health & safety standards, and remains 100% compliant at all times whilst delivering exceptional customer service.

What will you do?
Oversee completion of daily reactive work orders
Manage all aspects of the delivery of all planned maintenance
Track building asset performance to inform maintenance frequency and predictive maintenance
Analyse and interpret servicing and work order trends
Keep track of and schedule the annual compliance register
Ensure all records are formatted correctly and stored on the central depository
Provide timely MI reports to show ongoing compliance status
Work in conjunction with the central team on all site H&S inspections and audits.
Ensure reports such as FRA's, reportable incidents are recorded on the central database in a timely manner
Control operating spend in line with annual budget
To act as a role model for the values and key behaviours across the organization.
To promote peak performance through effective people management, embracing the one-to-one and review process
What are we looking for?
Proven experience in a facilities role
Excellent communication skills
Experience in managing contractors
City & Guilds or equivalent trade qualification
People management skills and the ability to achieve great results through people
Significant experience and proven track record in delivering the highest standards of customer service.
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Knowledgeable in relevant regulations, legislation, guidance and best practice.
Health and Safety - must be proficient with current Health, Safety and Environment legislation
Good IT skills
Property / Residential experience (desirable)
Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) level 6 (desirable)
