What we need



Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Heating and Ventilating Relevant qualifications in F-Gas, Installation and Maintenance of Refrigeration, Mechanical and Ductwork Systems Knowledge of British Standards (BS EN) and CIBSE Guides Commercial and contractual awareness (e.g. JCT / NEC contracts) Experience in HVAC installations, Fire Damper installations and project management Exceptional leadership, management, and organisational skills Confident with a range of IT systems and software Up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance Self motivated, proactive and a positive attitude Excellent team player with the ability to integrate and inspire others Full UK driving licence (minimum 6 months' experience post-test) Willingness to undertake training and personal development Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuous improvement

Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Building Services Manager (HVAC) will lead the day to day management of a variety of HVAC projects ranging across commercial, retail, domestic and industrial sectors.







You'll ensure that every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably, while upholding Princebuild's commitment to quality and client satisfaction .



Responsibilities



Lead, oversee and deliver multiple HVAC projects from inception to completion Manage and support Trainee and Assistant Managers and Supervisors Interpret and implement contract designs and construction drawings Liaise effectively with clients, architects, surveyors and project teams Manage and coordinate specialist subcontractors Monitor and enforce Health & Safety and CDM Regulations Prepare project reports, programmes and progress updates Manage valuations, final accounts and assist with tender preparation Track and report on job profitability Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials Approve purchase invoices and timesheets Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers and the wider team Drive continuous improvement and high standards of customer care Use company systems and tools (including bespoke software, Word, Excel, Project) Support the professional development of team members

This is a full time position and hours of work will be 42 hours per week. This will also involve daily travel and working away as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.



07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday to Thursday


07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday
