We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager or Senior MEP Project Manager to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems across a diverse portfolio projects.

What You'll Do




As Building Services Manager, you will ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of all M&E services including:


Hot & cold-water systems


Lighting (internal and external)


Electrical distribution (LV)


Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning (HVAC)


Telecommunications


Security systems (building and CCTV)


Fire Systems


Lifts


Liquid Nitrogen


Compressed Air


Sprinkler and Fire Suppression Systems


Local Extract Ventilation (LEV)


Building and Energy Management System (BEMS)


Reporting to the Head of MEP, you will manage the full lifecycle from pre-construction planning through to on-site delivery and commissioning, working closely with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities




Lead the M&E design and coordination process during preconstruction


Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of building services


Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety, and sustainability standards


Manage subcontractors and resolve technical queries and design issues


Maintain M&E programmes, RFIs, drawing registers, and project documentation


Produce project reports and contribute to progress and client meetings


Deliver value engineering solutions while maintaining quality and functionality


Maintain strong working relationships with sub-contractors and clients

Required Experience & Qualifications




Experience managing complex M&E packages on large-scale construction projects


Proven expertise in a variety of sectors across both construction and pre-construction


Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or related field


CSCS or ECS Card - Trade or manager


SMSTS or SSSTS qualification


Strong communication, leadership, and commercial skills


Delivery experience desired over pre-construction experience
